Acceptable Use Policy

The rules for acceptable use of the Text Crow messaging platform.

Last updated: July 13, 2026

This is a standard template provided for convenience. Review and adapt it with qualified legal counsel before relying on it in production.

This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") describes prohibited uses of the Text Crow platform (the "Service"). It supplements our Terms of Service.

1. Consent and opt-out

You must only message recipients who have given the consent required by applicable law. You must honor opt-out requests (including STOP keywords) and maintain suppression lists. The Service provides tooling to help, but compliance remains your responsibility.

2. Prohibited content

  • Unlawful, fraudulent, deceptive, or misleading messages.
  • Harassment, threats, hate speech, or content that exploits minors.
  • Phishing, malware, or links intended to deceive or harm.
  • Categories restricted by carriers where you lack proper registration or consent.

3. Prohibited activity

  • Sending unsolicited bulk messages (spam).
  • Evading filtering, rate limits, or number-reputation protections.
  • Sharing credentials or circumventing tenant isolation and access controls.
  • Interfering with or overloading the Service or its providers.

4. Enforcement

We may investigate suspected violations and may suspend or terminate access, throttle sending, or trigger campaign kill switches to protect recipients, providers, and the platform.

5. Reporting abuse

Report suspected abuse to [email protected].
