How Text Crow collects, uses and protects personal data.

Last updated: July 13, 2026

This is a standard template provided for convenience. Review and adapt it with qualified legal counsel before relying on it in production.

This Privacy Policy explains how Text Crow ("we", "us") collects, uses, and protects personal data when you use our platform (the "Service").

1. Data we collect

  • Account data: name, email, and authentication details.
  • Customer data: contacts, messages, and campaign data you submit.
  • Usage data: logs, device and diagnostic information.
  • Provider data: credentials you connect, stored encrypted.

2. How we use data

We process data to provide and secure the Service, deliver messages through your connected providers, generate reporting, prevent abuse, and meet legal obligations.

3. Processing role

For customer data (including your contacts and message content), you are the data controller and we act as a processor on your instructions. You are responsible for the lawful basis and required consents for your messaging.

4. Sharing

We share data with subprocessors that help operate the Service (for example, cloud hosting and your chosen messaging and shortening providers). We do not sell personal data.

5. Security

We use encryption for sensitive credentials, strict tenant isolation, access controls, and audit logging. See our security overview.

6. Retention

We retain data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service, then delete or anonymize it subject to legal requirements and your retention settings.

7. Your rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights to access, correct, export, or delete personal data. The Service provides data export and contact deletion tooling to support these rights.

8. International transfers

Data may be processed in countries other than your own. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for such transfers.

9. Analytics and advertising

On our public website and marketing pages we use third-party analytics and advertising technologies — including Google Analytics and Google Ads, the Meta (Facebook) Pixel, the Microsoft (Bing) Advertising UET tag, the LinkedIn Insight Tag, and Cloudflare Zaraz — which set cookies and use similar tracking pixels. These help us measure traffic, understand how visitors use the site, and deliver and measure advertising, including remarketing to people who have visited our site. Our advertising is directed at audiences in the United States.

These providers may collect information such as your IP address, device and browser details, and pages viewed, and may combine it with data they hold to serve ads across other sites and platforms. We do not sell your personal information for money. Some of this activity may be considered "sharing" for cross-context behavioral advertising under U.S. state privacy laws such as the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA); where applicable you may opt out of such sharing. You can limit this tracking by adjusting your browser settings, using the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on, and using the industry opt-out tools at the DAA and NAI. See our Cookie Policy for details.
